Been playing with adding some deerhair heads.

My William Joseph bag

This is my new bag for this year. I am not sponsored by William, but would gladly accept one of all their bags for free test trial if they wanted me to. Lets run down the goodies.

Left side is my croakies and head phones. I put my blackberry in the main pouch and the headphones are held in place by the magnetic strip. Jamming to some Limp Biscuit is nice.

Inside pockets front to back. Tippet,and knife. Leaders. Flies and pliers.

This handy little back pocket has been denoted as my trash bin. It is usually full of discarded fishing line dumb asses throw on the ground.

There you go boys. Organization at it's best.

Saturday Fishing

My local haunt is clearing up nicely from the floods and starting to look fishy.
Went with yellow today.

Attack of the toads- spring is here

Every spring my two goldfish ponds have toads in them. This video is three toads from last night. Tonight I have a half dozen singing. You can just barely hear them from the house, but it is nice to sit on the patio and listen to them at night and relax. The video is at night so all you can see is the reflection of the light on the water.


Here is what the red bellied toads looks like.

Hit the river again today.

Used the red herring as my fly of choice.

River is very dirty and moving hard, we had a few inches of rain in the last couple of days.

I remembered my cigars. All in all a nice day.

Not much posting lately

Haven't been doing much posting lately, but doing alot of tying. Finishing up left over orders from the Expo a few weeks back.

PIke Fishing

Went fishing with a buddy on Friday. Winds were around 30 miles an hour and brutal to cast into. The only thing worse than no fish was forgetting my cigars. Which was why we caught no fish.
