Finished flies

Got another batch of flies cranked out this afternoon. These all have the lower keel since the heads are quote small. This also makes them flatter on the bottom, but more resistant to fouling on the hook as well.

The pile keeps growing......

I will cut these down to size tonight, add the eyes and epoxy heads. Then into the show box for February sales.

Back to production

Sold over 75 flies at the Indian Fly Show so I need a few more for the Hawkeye Fly show in February. Would like to take 150 with me.

Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo April 1,2,3

The Expo is going on again this year. I was sad when they canceled the Chicago show, but I understand. It was a great fly show. I have put in to tie again at the Minneapolis show again this year. It was a great weekend. I will keep you updated I know more.

Jet Ski fishing

The possibilities are just swimming through my mind. Now I would need to replace the cooler with a casting platform. This baby would run on all my shallow rivers and save allot of rowing.

Indiana Fly Fishing show

Had a great time at the show. Met some new people, sold some flies and shared some experiences. Too bad this was only a one day show. Check out the Temple Forks hat. Hopefully there will be an interesting story about that!

I died a little bit inside when I received this picture by email this morning. Horrible.

We can put a person on the moon, cure cancer, clone life, but we are too stupid to not destroy our environment for a $100 bowl of soup at a yuppie club.

Big Pike Flies Poster

Thought it would be cool to have a poster to hang off my table at shows. I used an old looking map as the background. I think I will do one for the top off the table as well. Now in this version the pictures have not been glued down yet. I will laminate it next week.
