River fishing
Went with Andy and John to throw some fluff. Few smallies and some stripers but no pike......again.

Depression setting in
Been over a month since I rolled a pike. Is their such a thing as no pike depression.

Floated the river
Rolled some bass. No pike. Few walleys.had to hide in the woods for an hour as a ttorrential rain storm.

God it's hot
We rolled a few fish but only small bass were taken, the water was 87.5 degrees and like bath water.

Trick of the day
I stand on sand bars allot to change flies, but don't want to lay my reel in the grit.i stick the butt section in the sand and then wash it before putting back together.
