Time for the BlackBerry to go. Got an android phone this time. Has 5 mg pixel video and camera for fish porn and lots of cool fishing aps. GPS stuff, river guides, google maps, tide charts. The blackberry aps were a;ways very limited.

First Pike of the year

Well at least the bar is set low and should be easy to surpass. This one fellow to a chartreuse fly. The rivers are starting to clear up and warm a little. Still in the 40's from all the cold weather and rain we have had lately. Missed a half dozen follows from bigger pike and even one little smallmouth.

Mono weed guards

I normally dont like weed guard, but i am loosing my ass on flies with the sinking line. I added the simple loop guard to a few flies. We will see how many it saves.
